Geography Of Ancient India
The ancient civilizations of India had natural borders. To the north they had the Himalayan Mountain range. To the east they were protected by the Arabian Sea. To the south their border was the Indian Ocean. And the Bay of Bengal was to their east. Inside ancient India it was relatively flat except for the Deccan Plateau.
